The Mithras Trio comprises Ionel Manciu, violin, Leo Popplewell, cello, and Dominic Degavino, piano. (Dominic will be familiar to Sidmouth Music audiences, as he ably accompanied Meera Maharaj, flute, at our concert in November 2021.) Formed in 2017, the Trio are currently members of the prestigious BBC New Generation Artists scheme, broadcasting regularly on BBC Radio 3. They perform at many of London's major venues, and recently won the 10th International Chamber Music Competition in Trondheim.
